Calendar of Events

The Toronto Clean Energy Partnership is comprised of seven stages that will leverage high profile events for team member solution providers and EU solution seekers. These events will allow for a broader engagement between Toronto based and EU solution providers seeking to form supply chain agreements. The timelines below are preliminary.

Virtual Tuesdays with Central & Eastern Europe:
Learn more about heating and cooling opportunities in 7 markets
Tuesdays in May and June

Virtual Tuesdays will provide in-depth overviews to understand opportunities, procurement processes and available programs for doing international business in 7 markets of focus. Attendees can join interactive discussions with the market’s Canadian Trade Commissioner and special guest speakers who will share their perspectives on current situation, challenges and opportunities. Attendees will be able to identify opportunities and work with the local Canadian Trade Commissioner and the Toronto Clean Energy Partnership to explore trade opportunities as part of the next stage of the initiative.

Virtual Trade Mission / B2Bs | June 2021
  • Meet with key industry partners and explore individual collaboration opportunities
  • Attend B2B meetings between AZTT cluster members and local market contacts
  • Seven individual ½ day sessions with representatives of each market. Presentation on local market issues, presentation on potential AZTT solutions, facilitated session to identify potential solution opportunities
Design Charrette / Local Energy Solutions Challenge Pitch | June to September 2021
  • Explore key energy issues that the local region is dealing with and opportunities and identify solutions
  • ¾ day sessions for those local markets (up to 5) interested in developing solutions using AZTT member solutions
World Circular Economy Forum | September 2021
  • Held in Toronto – inbound Finnish Trade Mission – meetings between cluster members to formalize partnering agreements
Live Trade Mission | Winter 2021-2022
  • City of Toronto to lead a trade mission to Central and Eastern Europe to those markets who are interested in finalizing solution offerings with the AZTT cluster and sustainable finance cluster members
